GONE FISHING
L'Agulhas, or Cape of Needles, due to the rocky shoreline, is legendary for its fantastic fishing. People travel from far to experience fishing from a boat leaving from Struisbaai Harbour. The more seasoned fishermen cast on the rocks past the Southernmost Tip of Africa.
BOWLS
Cape Agulhas Bowls Club sits at the top of L'Agulhas and was founded in the early 1990s. It is nestled against the lush green hills and many a beautiful day has been spent here, both by serious bowls fanatics, as well as enthusiastic supporters and bowling friends.
TIP OF AFRICA
The Southernmost Tip of Africa, where the two oceans meet, the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans, is easily accessible with a beautiful boardwalk from the Cape Agulhas Lighthouse, the second oldest working lighthouse in South Africa, to the ikon depicting the African continent.

L'Agulhas at the Southern Tip of Africa is littered with the wrecks of over 140 ships that met their fate. The Meisho Maru is one of the most photographed wrecks, and a favourite meeting place for family and friends. The sunsets at L'Agulhas will take your breath away.
